Stroller ride with an ice cream cone.
A sunny day. A walk outside you’re never alone.
A blanket down in Central Park. Mom and dad say that we can stay till it gets dark.

(Chorus) But for now I am sitting in sunshine (2x)

A picnic lunch. My favorite toys. Dad doesn’t mind when we make too much noise.
All of the dogs running around. My big brother’s doing cartwheels on the ground. (Chorus)

Bridge: And it’s my favorite time of the whole week through.
When we can do the things that families do.
Mom, dad, brother, Grandpa and Grandma too.
Every Sunday’s fun with all of you. (Chorus)

Once I was playing my guitar in Strawberry Fields in Central Park when I saw a beautiful family having a picnic, utterly enjoying the magnificent 70-degree day. Growing up, Sundays were always the days that my family and I would spend with our grandparents (usually over bagels,
lox and cream cheese). This moment brought back a lot of memories.
